Eric Fulcher

from the beginning

Do you ever feel like you’re missing the manual for life, like you were absent the day in school when they handed out maps? I get it. Life and relationships can be challenging, and if you’re needing some help navigating the complexities of life, you are not alone!

I offer a warm and open space, with a commitment to truly listen to your story. I’ve walked with clients through a wide range of concerns such as: gaining clarity on big decisions; coping with anxiety, depression, and grief; making difficult changes with less fear; reducing conflict in a relationship or with family; and improving sex, intimacy, and connection. If religious or spiritual issues are important to you, I am also equipped with specialized training and life experience to help you incorporate these into your therapy. This could include drawing from your faith or spirituality as a resource, navigating faith deconstruction, reconstruction, or difficult religious experiences, and more.

Call, text, or schedule an appointment through our website and we can discuss the best ways to get you started.

Background:

I grew up in Richmond, VA and am a transplant to South Louisiana. I attended Virginia Tech, where I completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I then attended seminary, after which I worked as a local faith leader in Virginia and then Baton Rouge, having the opportunity to collaborate with individuals from a wide range of ages, spiritual backgrounds and nationalities. Over the years I discovered that the most fulfilling aspects of that work were the times when I could listen to someone’s story, walk with them through grief, or otherwise offer a warm and caring presence in a time of need. I decided to pursue this professionally, and completed a Master of Arts in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling at University of Holy Cross. I love walking alongside people to help them discover their most authentic self and how to live their best life. In my free time I love to read, play golf, or try to catch an elusive redfish from my kayak in the Louisiana marshes.
