I have a passion for helping people improve and cultivate meaningful relationships, both with others and themselves. I work with couples, families, as well as individual adolescents and adults, assisting them in navigating life transitions, parenting challenges, conflict resolution, increasing intimacy, overcoming infidelity, and developing effective strategies for managing and coping with ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
Reaching out for help when you are at your lowest can be incredibly difficult and finding the right therapist can be an overwhelming experience. Feel free to reach out for a consultation where we can discuss your needs and figure out the best way to help you grow and improve your quality of life.
I grew up in the Greater New Orleans Area before
attending Louisiana State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science
degree in Elementary Education, fueling my passion for teaching. I started my
career as a librarian and STEM teacher for the East Baton Rouge Parish Schools
and then had the opportunity to serve as a middle school science teacher at
Louise S. McGehee School in New Orleans. During my time as an educator, I
thoroughly enjoyed creating a warm, safe, and supportive environment for my
students. It gave me the opportunity to witness the profound impact that
familial support had on their growth and their overall well-being. Drawing from
those professional experiences and my own personal journey, I gained a profound
appreciation for the transformative power of therapy in enhancing the lives of
individuals and the interconnectedness of their relationships. In May 2023, I
graduated with a Master’s in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from the
University of Holy Cross and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor
Education and Supervision, integrating my passions for both, education, and
counseling.
